Can Time Heal Wounds?
A part from occasional minor skirmishes along the border since the partition of India and Pakistan, the two countries have fought three major wars. Especially after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, tensions have escalated- like pouring fuel on a burning fire. The conflict has persisted ever since India and Pakistan were separated and declared independent nations. The icy region of Kashmir continues to burn like coal to this day. As a result, the borders of the two countries remain perpetually tense. The first war between India and Pakistan after partition was the war over Kashmir in 1947. This conflict took place in Uri, Baramulla, and Poonch in Kashmir. It was this war that became the root cause of the continued hostilities we see even today. How many more atrocities must people witness- Operation Brasstacks, the Pulwama attack, the Kargil War, Operation Vijay, the Pahalgam attack, and Operation Sindoor? When will it end — a gang shooting down innocent people in the name of terror...
