Something to think about...

The Madras High court has made a significant ruling regarding the display of photographs in its courts. According to the court's order, only pictures of Mahatma Gandhi and Thiruvalluvar are allowed to display in the courts of Tamilnadu and Puduchery. Nowadays this has sparked controversy among various advocate associations, political parties and people.

We all know, the great man Dr.Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar's active life, glorious personality and great capability of him. He was honoured as the first 'Law Minister' of the independent India. Being a democratic socialist, he propagated that fundamental rights have little meaning to people in the absence of social democracy. Due to his contributions towards the making of the Indian constitution he is called as the 'Father of the Indian constitution'. The contribution of Dr.Ambedkar in Indian democracy is not to be forgotten. And nobody can deny Dr.Ambedkar's contribution in creating the constitution. In such a context, it is unacceptable to state that Dr.Ambedkar's photograph will be removed. If the person who wrote the constitution does not have a place in the court, we don't know who else will be given a place in this country. We should all fight for a man who fought for everyone.

'You can take him from the courts,

            but not from our hearts'.
